“Due to the calendar of the General Assembly all budget decisions are projected to be completed before our Legislative Action Conference scheduled for June 22. Therefore the NC Legislative Action Conference is cancelled. The current projected calendar is for the Senate to have their budget ready by May 20 and the House version is to be ready by May 28. Refunds will be issued to anyone that has registered.
Help is still needed! Your letters of support for our bills are needed. Once we have bill numbers assigned to our bills we will send them to you in a suggested letter for you to send to your legislators. We regret that this decision to cancel had to be made but we had no control over the General Assembly’s calendar.”
